10K-A-Day: Step Up to Better Health

10-K-A-Day program has been merged with the state-wide “Walk North
Dakota” challenge that will run
Jan. 7- March 3,
is a program that gets people moving and feeling more active.
The program is a
simple and inspirational way to boost your physical activity everyday, no
matter how busy you are. It gives you all the tools you need to plan and
track daily walking habits, while making more steps a permanent part of
your healthy lifestyle.
The goal of the program is to take 10,000 steps per day. Not everyone
can achieve that goal starting out, but you can work up to it
gradually. Set aside time each day for walking or jogging and take every
opportunity to add steps to your usual routine. The Walk North Dakota
program is open to anyone interested in walking their way to health.
